I was able to rotate my tires in my own garage last night! They needed it very badly as I could see my fronts were very worn down when compared to the rear tires. Its looking like I'll need to buy tires by summer of next year. Happy New Year to all!

Autocross at PBIR! I had a blast yesterday on the Kart track. I managed to get a best time of 60.803 in the STX class. Unfortunately I was outclassed by much better cars. However, I did manage to beat a Mustang GT and a 350Z with my laptime. Thanks to Equipe Rapide for organizing the event!

Changed my oil yesterday. As usual I used Mobil 1 5w30 Full Synthetic motor oil, with a Fram Extra Guard oil filter. Now to find a place that accepts used oil!

Thankfully Nissan covered my defective wheel bearing under the powertrain warranty. I noticed the cost of the repair and it was about $330 or so. I'm glad that was not coming out of my pocket!

The Spec is in the shop for an alignment and tire rotation. The shop noticed a wheel bearing that needs replacing. I will be scheduling an appointment with Nissan hopefully next week for it.

I'm currently looking for a beginner's bike. I'm hoping for a Kawasaki Ninja 250 or 500. There's really not many used for sale in this area. Unless I want to shell out 4 grand or 5500 respectivley for a new model. If there's anyone who knows of one for sale let me know!

I have received endorsement to ride a motorcycle! Next step is getting my motorcycle license and obviously buying a bike. I'm considering a Kawasaki Ninja 500R the most, then if the price is right a Ninja 250. If anyone in the area is selling either please contact me!

I am taking the basic rider motorcycle safety course tomorrow! There is classroom time and course time and lasts ALL weekend. This class is for slow speed maneuvering. In Florida, I have heard if you have passed this class, it is all you need to legally ride a motorcycle. Next stop Kawasaki Dealership!

I've been considering HID conversion kit for a while now. I've looked around on the web and came across these guys: www.xenoneyes.com/index.html
If anyone has dealt with them I'd like to hear your opinion. Its a tempting conversion kit for low beams for $129 + shipping. Not to mention you can also receive a $10 credit on your order if you send them a Pic of the product after the install! I will probably go with the 6K variety.

Since I've been getting below normal MPG lately I decided to do more research on Sea Foam. Nearly every member on MSV.com says it's great. So this weekend I went ahead and performed the tune-up. I hooked it to my vacuum line, let it suck up about 1/2 the bottle, shut it off and waited about 10 minutes. Smoke everywhere!!!! So far it's running great and sounds better too! I seem to be getting about 3 more MPG!

Sorry for the long hiatus. There has not been too much to discuss. Since my last post I have changed the oil, myself with no lift and no airtools!!! I also had 20% window tint installed last week. I will get pictures up as soon as I am able and have time to wash my car! Expect a gallery and an image on the styling page.

Header Update! Since I've installed the 2nd O2 spacer, my SES light has been off! It has been about 1,500 miles since I've installed the 2nd O2 spacer.

Installed SS Braided Brake lines by Technafit. FYI if anyone has these, use the stock bolts where the line connects to the caliper. The included bolts in the kit are rather fragile and break easily. The install was topped off by new brake fluid, ATE Super Blue DOT 4. Look for pics sometime this week!

I had my uncle reset my SES code, which was P0420. The more I researched, the more I was leaning toward the #2 - O2 sensor being at fault. I also ordered a second O2 Spacer. If the light comes on again, I will be installing it with the first O2 spacer. I also changed my oil, nothing less than Mobil 1 5w30 full synthetic. On February 1st I will be going back into the garage to flush my fluids, bleed my brakes and install my SS braided brake lines.

Calling all you Nissan techs! My SES light came on over the weekend. I am working on a solution. Unfortunately when I installed the header I did not have time to extend the O2 sensor wire to reach the 2nd bung on the header, which is where it is supposed to be. As far as I know this is the cause of the Check Engine light. I have found a simple extension wire on an autoparts website (<- click for part listing). If anyone has any other suggestions please email me. Of course I will be consulting my uncle, the master mechanic before I make a decision.

Autocross is a blast! Check the Extras section for a map of the track! Had to get up at 6am to get there a little after 7am. For my first autocross, the weather was not cooperating. The first heat started around 10:30am which was my heat. It was rainy and slick, but somehow I managed to beat a Corvette AND a BMW, with a time of 85.46!

Got my car back from Brenner Wednesday, I was actually trying to break it as I was pulling out and doing a burnout in the parking lot as I was leaving the dealership (As the entire sales staff is staring at me HAHAHA!). I just wanted to be absolutely sure they did the job right this time. Thankfully nothing broke. My car is currently good to go for repairs and maintanence Next stop an oil change in about 2,000 miles.

Brenner Nissan called about my car. They said something with the axle was broken, involving the splines. They claim it was not their fault, it just broke by itself. Which we all know is a load of shit, due to the fact that I maintain my car personally and nothing up until this point has happened. I should have it back by the end of the work week.

Received my car back from Brenner Nissan. Everything seemed fine, until I was pulling out of the Carlisle Giant and I shifted into 2nd gear. My car made a loud noise then all of a sudden no power was going to the wheels. When I would push the accelerator, I could hear a grinding noise. So I had to get Lebo's Towing to take it back to Brenner.

Just took the spec to Brenner Nissan. Noticed some leaking on one of the Axle boots. They told me that the right one has a bad seam. Currently on order, hopefully it will be in next week.
