The spec has hit 50K! I have hit 50,000 miles with my SE-R SpecV. They have mostly been great miles. It still pulls like the day I got it! Maintanence coming up: CAI air filter replacement, spark plug inspection and oil change.

Its that time of year, summer maintenance! I have rotated my new tires, they were about due at 4,000 miles. I attempted to clean the Nismo CAI filter, but its still jet black. I'll probably have to order a replacement soon, it has about 45k on it. Last thing I did was the seafoam treatment, so far in my gas and vacuum line. Right before my next oil change and I'll put it in the crankcase too!

Had my new tires installed last week, they are very nice, cannot give a review quite yet, check back in a month or two. See right for picture >>>. Also had my coolant flushed, since I'm close to 50k.

Bought a set of tires from Discount Tire. Yokohoma S.Drives! Used their price match feature, TireRack had them for $5 less a piece. DT called me back within an hour and the rep matched it with free shipping AND free valve stems and the hazard replacement warranty for just over $500 shipped!

Just changed my oil. Using Mobil 1 5W30 Full Synthetic with a Fram "ToughGard" Oil Filter. Waiting on my Refund, I'm considering some HIDs. What do you all think?

I was able to rotate my tires in my own garage last night! They needed it very badly as I could see my fronts were very worn down when compared to the rear tires. Its looking like I'll need to buy tires by summer of next year. Happy New Year to all!

Autocross at PBIR! I had a blast yesterday on the Kart track. I managed to get a best time of 60.803 in the STX class. Unfortunately I was outclassed by much better cars. However, I did manage to beat a Mustang GT and a 350Z with my laptime. Thanks to Equipe Rapide for organizing the event!

Changed my oil yesterday. As usual I used Mobil 1 5w30 Full Synthetic motor oil, with a Fram Extra Guard oil filter. Now to find a place that accepts used oil!

I have found a new forum specvforum.com! Complete with similar features of msv. I have ordered a louder horn kit (PIAA 85112 - 500hz & 600hz). I also have a Escort 9500ix Radar Detector on order. Just too many cops and too many bad drivers down here in Florida! Check back soon for pics.
